Circus Skills
Workshop
The
Circus Skills Workshop includes many unique activities only available from him
such as Trick-Sticks and Stilt-Walking.
The workshop
begins with a brief demonstration of all the skills on offer, along
with a introductory lesson on how to perform that particular skill.
The different
skills are then placed at particular locations around the room, as
stations.
The children
are then divided into groups and sent to a station where they
attempt one of the activities. After a short duration, they move
around the room to the next station where they try the next skill.
Once all the
skills have been attempted, the children return to the front and
those children that would like to demonstrate their talents can do
so before the audience.
Depending on
the skill level and age of the children, additional skills may be
added and the process is repeated, giving the children a second
chance at the activities, along with some new ones.
The session
is then ended with a group teaching activity such as magic or
balloon modelling.
