Testimonials
Thank-you for all the excellent shows
you performed for our Libraries this year. They were very
well received and I have had lots of positive feedback.
You did an excellent job with the
magic school and all the children have enjoyed it. It made a
great summer for all the camper while teaching them a whole
new skill and hobby that they can continue at home.
Thank-you.

Just wanted to say a huge thank-you for the party today.
Everyone enjoyed it – kids and adults. Many adults came up to
me at the end and said how good you were. A couple have asked
me for your details which I’ll pass on. And the fact that none
of the kids moved for the full hour was brilliant! Thanks again.
Sue from Hyde
Just wanted to say Thank You very much for performing at our
Children's Christmas Parties.
The
feedback we have received has been excellent and the children
all had a fantastic time, Thank you so much for keeping them all
entertained I know it must not have been easy with such a wide
age range. We will be
in touch again soon.

Once again we were really impressed with the show. Each year you
are able to do something different and keep the children
controlled. We look forwards to seeing you again next year.

well as all his friends. His favourite part was the frog gag,
which he is still talking about. Many thanks.

Diane from Rochdale
Thanks
for entertaining our kids yesterday. They all seemed to have a
great time. The age range made it quite a challenge for you, but
I got v. good feedback.
Debbie from
Cheadle
Thank you for your running such an amazing magic show and disco
at Tom’s Party. I couldn’t believe how you held their attention
for two full hours, that in itself was magic, so thanks again
and obviously we will recommend you highly.
Paul from Bowdon
Stephen started his routine to music with some excellent finger
ring manipulation showing Stephen’s ability of sleight of hand.
Stephen followed with a short story about ‘Silly Tom Thumb’
where his fingers and thumbs kept disappearing and reappearing.
Again Stephen showed of some great effects just with his hands
before challenging everyone to a test that of course only
Stephen could do. Simon Croft was handed Stephen’s watch and
asked to set it to any particular time. Simon grabbed hold of
Stephen’s wrist and squeezed whilst announcing he had set the
watch to 8 o’clock. When he released Stephen’s wrist there was
an impression of a clock face with 8 o’clock being shown. Very
clever. Stephen performed a paper tear routine and a fun rope
routine before finishing with a lovely unequal rope routine to
music. A well rehearsed performance.
The review for the 1st
time I won Cabaret Magician of the year for 2008.
Reported by Nick Barnes, and
published in ‘The Magi’ magazine.
Stephen Ablett opened with a thimble routine; they came, went,
changed colour, just about everything. It was fast and well
pattered. Next came a routine with a wedding ring. It too moved
from hand to hand at speed, came on and off a ribbon much to the
delight of the audience. His fork bending routine convincing a
helper that he had done it with the power of his mind was quite
unbelievable. All I can say, Stephen started where Uri Geller
left off!
